Welcome to Dunmurry Community Association

Dunmurry Community Association (DCA) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to working for the best interest of the people of Dunmurry.  We are established since 1973 as an independent community organisation to improve life opportunities and the livelihoods of individuals and families living in the Dunmurry area. We work to build the capacity of the community through training, development, leadership and encourage local people to take control and engage in the decision making process in relation to issues that affect their lives. We identify the needs of the community and liaise with relevant statutory agencies to design and deliver appropriate and services to address those needs. DCA actively partners with groups and organisations of Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) origin to promote positive community relations and to build a better and stronger community through collaborative approaches. DCA is run by an elected management committee. Promoting volunteering is central to our ethos.
